The day started as usual with the alarm waking us up at 7am. Mr Cee got up straight away to feed the cats, I listened to the news headlines and then got up and joined him for breakfast. The forecast was for 17C/62F and cloudy and that was about right all day.
He started work at 7.30am and I noodled around on the internet for a while until it was time to tidy up and get ready for our online Tai Chi lesson. Just as we were setting that up the doorbell went and it was our neighbour wanting to borrow Mr Cee's chainsaw to get rid of a tree stump in his garden. So he took that round and got back just in time for the start of the lesson. This week we did one of the harder sets, but it was good fun and we enjoyed it as usual.
Mr Cee went 'back' to work and I got the lunch ready. We always have a larger lunch on Thursdays as we have our Pilates lesson in the evening so today was spaghetti bolognaise and salad.
I spent the afternoon sorting a few things out and catching up with season five of Merlin which I've been rewatching. Once Mr Cee had finished work at 2.30pm we caught up and then he cut the lawn as our little lawn bot didn't put itself back on it's charger a couple of days ago and we didn't realise it hadn't been cutting the grass. So we've popped it back on its charger but it will take a day to recharge itself and go out again (it would normally go out every day and take a little off the grass and then recharge afterwards). It'll be back to normal tomorrow, but he felt like tidying up the grass in the meantime.
By then it was time to go out to Pilates. We took the electric Smart as there's some building work going on at the hall so there's not much space to park and the Smart was perfect to slot into a tiny space. The class was hard as usual - but I was pleased that I managed to do some of the forms that I've found really hard in the past. We're both improving!
We got home close to 7pm and had showers before having a snack for dinner. Then we had an early night as we were both tired.
